FREE Art Show at Louisiana’s Old State Capitol

Baton Rouge, LA – Secretary of State Tom Schedler and Louisiana’s Old State Capitol invite the public to a FREE Art Show & Sale from April 5 to May 3, 2014. The hours are from Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m located at 100 North Boulevard in Baton Rouge, LA, 70801. Additional information at 225.342.0500.

The Associated Women in the Arts started in 1980. The membership is comprised of women in Southern Louisiana who create art in a variety of visual forms. AWA creates opportunities for its professional artist members to discuss, exhibit and sell their work. While advancing the causes of women artists, the organization also helps broaden awareness of art and culture throughout the state of Louisiana.

Works on display at the Old State Capitol were created in various media including oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, graphite and mixed. Click on image to view.
